The often referred to ‘dreaming spires’ spires and towers of the skyline of the University city of Oxford pierce the leafy parkland foliage. Matthew Arnold dubbed Oxford as the "City of Dreaming Spires" based on the architecture of the world famous University buildings. The nearest building on the left is Magdalen College Tower, and the church with the round spire immediately behind was formerly All Saints Church, but is now deconsecrated and houses the library of Lincoln College. The Church of St. Mary the Virgin is in the centre and the distinctive dome of The Radcliffe Camera building is on the right. Good copy space.
