The San Blas Island chain, off the coast of Panama is situated on the third largest tropical reef in the world. Only a small percentage of the islands are inhabited by the Guna Yala tribe, who have kept the islands pristine and clear of rampant commercial tourism. There are sail boats and a few tour companies that stop here on the over water crossing from Colombia to Panama; offering a few lucky travelers a glimpse at caribbean paradise.
